The ZEBAI team aims to develop a software technology able to optimise the selection of (1) materials and building systems, (2) HVAC systems, (3) renewable energy sources, and (4) other passive and active systems (such as windows, green facades/roofs, blinds, …) for a new ZEB, thereby making the process of exploring design alternatives more efficient and at the same time ensure that new buildings are affordable for the population. The software is aimed at the entire professional construction sector: architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, companies and manufacturers.
